:What about people like Montgomery? Baden Powell? Conan Doyle? Lewis Carroll? Also, if John and Paul are there, should George and Ringo not be there too? --KotomiTohayougozaimasu 16:59, 21 December 2008 (EST)

It is pretty interesting that King Arthur is on the list, there are no direct evidences to suggest he was really exist. He probably is just a myth. For Diana, I don't know if she has made any achievements that can be called a hero. She is just popular, but you can't call someone a hero just because she is popular. Her style of personal life also will not make Conservatives feel very comfortable.

For Steven Hawking, since this website is described as a Christian website. These heroes also will be called heroes for Conservatives .But Steven Hawking is atheist, he openly said there is no God. Although he can be called a hero on his personal life.

Also, I think you should add Alfred the great as a British hero; He successfully defended England from Vikings and protected the churches there. He is the only British monarchy being called “the great”. Richard the Lionheart also should be here since he greatly fought for Christians and thousands of pilgrims can travel to Jerusalem safely since he forced Saladin to accept his agreement. Although as a king, he didn’t stay at England too much.

Edmund Burke also should here since he is a Conservative hero. --Conservativedreams 23:43, 25 October 2012 (EDT)
