It has been alleged by some that the popular series supports the [[homosexual agenda]] with the highly effeminate dragon the fandom has dubbed Steven Magnet, who appeared in the shows pilot. Allegations of [[homosexuality]] have also been leveled at one of the Mane Six, a Pegasus called rainbow dash, due to her tomboyish attitude the creator of the show, Lauren Faust, has however come out to say that the show has no homosexual characters
