'''Lewis Wolpert''' (born October 19, 1929) is an biologist and [[atheist]] from South Africa. He lives in London. In February 2007, he debated [[William Lane Craig]] in London, England, UK on the subject of "Is God a Delusion?" Despite being an atheist, Woplert is very respectful of religious faith and even goes as far as to say that religious people are generally more healthy. In his youth, Wolpert was a religious Jew, but eventually rejected his faith.
