Andy, would it be safe to say that, in this entire list, there is only room for one more word and that word must be from the 1700s? :How can there be "room" for a particular number of words from a particular time? There are as many "best conservative words" in circulation at a given time as were in circulation--the model has to fit the data; the data can't fit the model. [[User:MattyD|MattyD]] 13:58, 30 November 2012 (EST)
