There is a denomination called [[Conservative Mennonites]]. Old Order Mennonites, Amish, Conservative Mennonites are not pacifists they believe in Biblical nonresistance as taught in the Sermon on the Mount which they take and observe literally. As for the rejection of wealth that is incorrect. It is rather they embrace the New Testament teaching of simplicity of possessions. There is a difference. A number have a "wealthy" net worth but they live simply. Their rejection of certain technology has more to do with their interpretation of keeping separate from the world -- what constitutes "worldliness."
I've edited this page to remove some inaccurate information. Another editor posted that the Old Order Mennonites avoid technology because they believe that it is evil and from the devil. This is a common stereotype, but not true. Old Order Mennonite beliefs on technology and what is acceptable are complex. [[User:CobaltFusion|CobaltFusion]] 12:28, 29 April 2011 (EDT)
