Proud to say that I was one of the three that earned a 29/30--I was very impressed by the substance of the test! Although I wasn't following along with the course, I have to say that only my time at law school saved me.  That is, had I been given such a test in high school, I would have done very poorly; this (important!) material simply was not covered in my public education.

I did have one comment about the question concerning which answer was a refutation of "one man-one vote" principals: I selected Article III (which was wrong) because of the structure of un-elected, lifetime appointed federal judges.  Is this answer merely "less correct"?  Thanks for a challenging test! == Question Regarding Legality of Income Tax ==

Although the 16th Amendment did grant Congress the ability to levy a tax without basing that tax on census results or the like, the ability to tax income was still within Congress' authority prior to the 16th amendment. It is a common misconception that the 16th amendment "legalized" the income tax. The full text is: "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, '''without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.'''" The bolded section, obviously, being the distinction from what was the case prior. [[User:JaPo|JaPo]] 03:25, 13 February 2013 (EST)
