→North Pole
:Sorry pal, but it was in blatant violation of site's policies. Besides, Karajou deleted North Pole on his own initiative after seeing it without any prompting from me. I put the delete template on the talk page only after the article was deleted. Why should a talk page stay lying around after its article is gone? Anyway, if you want to humor yourself, I suggest [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omYH2MFEERw this vid]. It reminds me of you and me. - [[User:Markman|Markman]] 13:20, 1 March 2013 (EST)

::Sorry if there was some sort of confusion here, but the article that was deleted was not to end a "talkfest", but to remove something that was deliberately created to be a parody by a blocked user some years ago, and no one picked up on it until today. ::: To Karakou: I don't suppose that I can be allowed to do one of my standard Evans articles on North Pole so that the talk page can be returned. I am pretty sure that you knew about the talkpage - you do tend to check all my edits, and certainly TK in the old days let it go. I understand you have to be politic but I still had a few puns to go. :) (Now I will save the edit I was addressing to Markman when your edit above arrived.) ::::To Markman: Yes. I know "Tommy". I might even still have the LP. (Minutes pass) No, it didn't survive the Tropics. I only have "Who Are You", which is much later and the climate cooler. It is your sort of humour isn't it. Someone discomforted.
::::I cannot believe K. didn't know that talkpage. I know he checks my edits - when I step over the line the hand of K. appears and my edit disappears. Andy, however, might not have seen it previously and it was probably Andy you ran to. And ''of course'' he would back you - you agree with him even when you don't have a clue what they're talking about. "Blatant violation"? Perhaps. But minor, good-natured, harmless and ideology-neutral. Six words a month. That's one word for every 4000 I averaged during the months I edited them. It's a pity it's gone because I still had a few left.
::::I found out one thing, though. You can't pun. [[User:AlanE|AlanE]] 14:58, 1 March 2013 (EST)
