A careful study of evolution will reveal many unbridgeable gaps. Many assumptions and guesses with little concrete evidence ..." Clover maintains that life can be derived only from life: "The first life on earth came from a living Supernatural Being that we call God. Jesus was both God and man. ... we all know, beyond doubt, that had His teaching been followed, our world would be almost a heaven on earth. ... Huxley found the supernatural explanation of the origin of life "counter to the whole of our scientific knowledge."
