He is now (April 29, 2013) on trial for murder in the first degree, charged in the deaths of several babies that, the State alleges, were born alive, and that he made sure would die anyway. His trial has received coverage from only one reporter (Joe Slobodzian of ''The Philadelphia Inquirer'') and one cable television channel ([[Fox News Channel]]). The issues raised at trial, and lack of response to them from some quarters, raise serious questions as to the motives of [[abortion]] advocates in America today.
