:I treat everyone the same, and the Manual of Style reference is there for a reason.  Because right now, every reference you seemed to add in a huff could have come from anywhere.  Where is the page from the book you are referencing?  Who is the publisher?  What year was it published?  And why have you been consistent in your refusal to do so?

:::Thanks Brenden, but there is no point. K. has decided in his wisdom, that AlanE (no one else, mind you) has to abide by the reference strictures of whatever university he has settled in. He could have told me this in 2007 but didn't. He has let me write oh so many articles - has fixed links on them, reverted vandalisations of them, corrected their spelling and typos, then suddenly decided they need university grade referencing. And called me a wimp when I complain.
