Just curious, are you reading my emails? I remember sending you one a long time ago and you didn't respond. Not that I'm berating you or anything, just asking. Also, this might not be relevant by the time you read this, but can you go to the other wiki we both frequent and unblock me? The recent upset at their elections has raised some antagonism. - [[User:Markman|Markman]] 14:05, 9 July 2013 (EDT)

:Nevermind, problem solved. Also there was no upset, just a mistake in calculating the results. - [[User:Markman|Markman]] 15:41, 9 July 2013 (EDT)

Greetings.  I see that you have mentioned using the questycaptcha to reduce spam accounts.  We are having an unbelievably serious problem with spam accounts at ameriwiki.org, and I wonder if you could give any advice.  We don't allow editing until a user has given an email address, so none of the bot-created accounts go anywhere, but it's still annoying.  I believe that CP doesn't require email, but it uses the "fuzzy letters" captcha, which seems to eliminate most of the spam.  But then they post the usual "n0t much t0 say about me but blah blah blah go to my website" user page, which people like you then revert and block.  To repeat, your problem at CP is nowhere near as pervasive as ours at AW, though it is often malicious.  Our captcha at AW appears to be nothing but "write the word 'swordfish' in the box", or things like that.  Anyway, I'm wondering if you could give any advice.

BTW, the quote that I put in the above paragraph got blocked by your spam filter, so I had to cloak it with zeros.  Nice job! [[User:SamHB|SamHB]] 23:30, 9 July 2013 (EDT)
