Before the advent of the Premiership, most of the club's success was in the 1930s and before. During that early time, they had two League Championships and six FA Cups. But since then, local millionaire Jack Walker realized his dream of getting a championship to Blackburn. With the help of superstar [[striker]] [[Alan Shearer]], they won in the 1994-95 season. However, when Walker passed on, the team sunk until the leadership of [[Mark Hughes]] brought them back to prominence.
