If your definition of "terrorist" is elastic enough to include Mandela and the struggle for racial freedom in South Africa, it's elastic enough to include George Washington and the American Revolution. There are times when violence is the only available recourse in the pursuit of freedom. Apartheid - like "taxation without representation" was one of those times.
