The show also glamorizes [[Hollywood Values]], such as marrying someone on the basis of boredom, having multiple sexual partners, and glamorizing abortion. Creator Lena Dunham, a self proclaimed feminist, has defended these wrongs in interviews, stating it is a representation of what it is like to be a woman in her twenties, when really it most certainly isn't.
