Sorry, but you cannot sit here and claim that Jesus wants us to torture people as long as we don't kill them. What we as Americans have to remember is that our nation began as a safe haven to the worlds unwanted. Many people left their homes to come here hoping for a better life, and we should extend this mentality to all the people of the world. Regardless of religion, ethnicity, or nationality. I sincerely hope that you can get that through your head. No where in the bible does it say that god only loves America. In fact the bible doesn't even mention America. So please Jesus would want you to treat everyone at the exact same standards that you would treat an American because Jesus does not hold an American flag.
