It is a special danger to logical conservatives because it is not only attempting to help the environment, it's doing it in such a cool and commercially viable way that it may much harder to get rid of then previous electric cars, like the EV1. − The EV1 was a great success. Despite it being a working and affordable electric car in the 90s, we managed to (literally) crush every one in only a few years. The electric car stayed dead until 2008 when Tesla released its first car, the Tesla Roadster.+ − − Since then Tesla has not only stayed in business but it has come out with another electric vehicle, the Tesla model S. Tesla not only helps the environment, it helps it unjustly. The model S costs about $70k, a price most Americans can't afford. Money should be able to buy many things but it should be everyone's right to help the environment equally if, for some illogical reason they want to. Therefor, products like the model S should be outlawed by the government and not doing so is one of the many bad things president Obama has done while in office.
