Bouts of Insanity? When?

Is there a cite for this presumed "insanity?" Kafka was no doubt neurotic but none of the biographie I've read of Kafka refer to "bouts of insanity." He did stay at a couple of sanitariums I believe, not for mental illness, but for the Tuberculosis that eventually killed him. --[[User:PF Fox|PF Fox]] 19:43, 15 April 2007 (EDT)
