Thereafter, a b*tcoin option was added to the WMF donation page.<ref>{{cite news|url=http://techcrunch.com/2014/07/30/wikipedia-now-accepts-bitc  donations-with-coinbase/|publisher=techcrunch.com|title=Wikipedia Now Accepts B*tcoin Donations With Coinbase|date=July 30, 2014|accessdate=August 8, 2014}}</ref> Seth Meyers noted on his ''Late Night'' program, "Wikipedia is now accepting donations using the online currency B*tcoin. So now you can support information you're not sure is true with currency you're not sure is money."<ref>http://www.thespec.com/living-story/4733681-tuesdayfile/ Retrieved August 8, 2014</ref>
