Despite the popularity of the Channel 4 documentary, experts claim it has flaws.{{fact-science}} One scientist appearing in it, Carl Wunsch, complained that he had been misled<ref>http://ocean.mit.edu/~cwunsch/papersonline/responseto_channel4.htm</ref>, and are is considering legal action against the documentary makers for misrepresenting him.
