Students at Hogwarts must complete a seven year program before they graduate. The core curriculum includes such courses as Herbology, Tranfiguration, Charms, Defense against the Dark Arts, Potions, and History of Magic.  Optional courses include Divination and Care of Magical Creatures.

Students at Hogwarts must complete a seven year program before they graduate though they can already leave the school after the fifth year if they pass a special exam which is obligatory. In the seventh year there is another exam.
