Al has performed with [[Fats Domino]], [[Marvin Gaye]], [[Chuck Berry]], [[Jimmy Clanton]], and [[Chubby Checker]]. His family is very inclined in both music and business, his mother Bennie Sanchez helped bring concerts from the likes of [[Elvis Presley]] and [[Johnny Cash]] to New Mexico, and his brothers [[Tiny Morrie]] and [[Baby Gaby]] are famous musicians in their own right; Al's children, nephews, and grandchildren are also New Mexico musicians, [[Al Hurricane Jr.]], [[Jerry Dean]], [[Erika]], [[Sparx]], [[Lorenzo Antonio]], and [[Christian Sanchez]].
