In 2005, LucasFilm re-released all three of the original Star Wars films on DVD to coincide with the theatrical release of [[Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith|Revenge of the Sith]]. In the original version, the freed Anakin was played by Sebastian Shaw. However, in the re-released version, Anakin was played by the actor in the Prequels, Hayden Christiansen. Some fans perceived this as an insult to Shaw.
