:But I need to remind you that EJW was banned quite some time ago. You seem to be grasping at straws wanting to talk to him. EJW appears to have left permanently, and it is very unlikely that he will see your invitation. If you want people to talk to, you need to keep them from being blocked. Otherwise, it's like a little child who beats up other children and then is sad when he has no friends. When children grow up, they have usually figured out that this isn't the way one should behave.
:Now the block was for 90/10, and not made by yourself. Perhaps you need to explain to Andy that, if a sysop such as yourself is engaged in a discussion with someone, ''and is replying to that person's comments'', that person shouldn't be blocked for 90/10. It's only when someone ''makes repeated edits that get ignored by sysops'' that they are actually engaging in "talk, talk, talk". If you really think someone should be blocked, ''stop replying to them'' and wait for them to make a repeated whiny edit. As it is, Andy is cutting off your circle of friends. Try to get him to stop, or at least reach an understanding that you may unblock people, preferably not after a delay of 5 months, if you wish to discuss something with them. Waiting 5 months is not a good way to continue a conversation.
