|καὶ διεγερθεὶς ἐπετίμησεν τῷ ἀνέμῳ καὶ εἶπεν<ref name="ft 1">εἶπεν is the 3rd Person Singular Indicative Active Aorist of λέγω, meaning "he said".</ref> τῇ θαλάσσῃ, Σιώπα, πεφίμωσο. καὶ ἐκόπασεν ὁ ἄνεμος, καὶ ἐγένετο γαλήνη μεγάλη.
