===Wii U===
===Wii U===
Nintendo release their latest console, the Wii U on November 18, 2012.
Nintendo release their latest console, the Wii U on November 18, 2012. Although a more powerful system than it's predecessor, it has not sold well. This is mainly due to lack of third-party support as well as lack of first party games (i.e. Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, Metroid). In March 2016, it was announced that by the end of the year, Nintendo would cease production on the Wii U. However, Nintendo has countered these claims, saying they will continue to manufacture the system.
