The quote "Power goes to two poles: to those who've got money and those who've got people" is technically a fake quote.(I've never seen anybody source the words in that specific makeup) What Alinsky actually wrote(page 127) is this:

Power has always derived from two main sources, money and people. Lacking money, the Have-Nots must build power from their own flesh and blood. A mass movement expresses itself with mass tactics. Against the finesse and sophistication of the status quo, the Have-Nots have always had to club their way. In early Renaissance Italy the playing cards showed swords for nobility, chalices for the clergy, diamonds for the merchants, and clubs as the symbol of the peasants.

He did view power in two poles: money and people. [[User:Progressingamerica|Progressingamerica]] ([[User talk:Progressingamerica|talk]]) 13:18, 1 May 2016 (EDT)
