→Move to "Catholic Church"?
It is not much of a surprise that the Roman Catholic Church sees itself as the only valid church (ecclesia catholica). But others may have a different view, like the U.S. DoD, which uses for its dog tags "CC: Catholic Churches (excludes Roman Catholic Church)" and "CR: Roman Catholic Church"... --AugustO (talk) 19:29, 26 May 2016 (EDT)

:A U.S. soldier can put whatever religion he likes on his tag, so long as it fits in the allotted space. ::You are absolutely right - how fascinating. I erroneously believed that a soldier had to choose one of the faith group codes (p. 12), but the U.S. military doesn't touch this can of worms - how very wise. When I was in the Bundeswehr, there were only a few abbreviations for the dog tags, ev (protestant) rk (roman catholic) two of them. --AugustO (talk) 09:47, 27 May 2016 (EDT)
