'''Lee Patrick Strobel''' (born 25 January 1952) is a former legal reporter for the [[Chicago Tribune]] and a Christian author. The basis for his 1981 journey from [[atheism]] to [[Christianity]] is discussed in his bestselling book ''The Case For Christ'' (Zondervan, 1998). After his wife had converted to Christianity, Strobel set out to disprove the faith, and instead became convinced by the evidence ''for'' it. He has expanded on this with other similarly themed [[Christian apologetics]] books such as ''The Case For Faith'' and ''The Case For a Creator''. He also hosted an interfaith debate show called ''Faith Under Fire''.
