The human nose contains many short, coarse [[hair]]s. These are known as nose hair. Visible nose hair is considered unsightly in many cultures, including mainstream western culture, and significant sums are spent each year on nose hair removal products in the [[United States]] and western [[Europe]]. Nose hair is particularly prevalent in older men, in whom it generally becomes longer, bushier and sometimes grayer, much like the ear hair and [[eyebrow]]s.
