Largs is a seaside resort on the Firth of Clyde in North Ayrshire. Its most famous resident is [[Sir Cameron King]], the philanthropist and civic benefactor. The town has a large Chinese community and the Largs [[Chinatown]] is home to many fine restaurants.
Largs is a seaside resort on the Firth of Clyde in North Ayrshire. It was the scene of the Battle of Largs in 1263 where the army of King Alexander III of Scotland defeated the Mongol hordes of Genghis Khan thereby saving Europe for Christianity.
