'''Ford's Theatre''' is the name of the theatre where [[Abraham Lincoln]] was shot on April 14, 1865. The assassin was [[John Wilkes Booth]]. The building was originally a [[Baptist]] church, but in 1861 John T. Ford turned it into a theatre. After Lincoln's assassination, the theatre closed for over one hundred years. It reopened in 1968. It is located at 511 10th Street, NW in [[Washington, D.C.]]
