I'm Another Editor: The basic argument here is whether Creationism should be taught as an alternative to the Theory of Evolution. The prior is not a science and can not be taught as a science because there are no scientific findings to back it up. Believing in evolution does not require atheistic viewpoints. There is no doubting that animals even during the presence of human observation change over the course of time and evolve. This does not say that at some point god did not create the world and animals and people but rather that the people and animals that god created change over the course of time. This is a fact and has been observed on many occasions. There is no argument here. The two ideas can go hand in hand.

Howdy. I've been through some rough times in the last few years, so apologies for not contributing. I actually agree with "science as science and philosophy as philosophy" because you know what? It's my absolute belief, very clearly and factually laid out in the Bible, that God created the Earth in six days. If you'd call that "philosophy as philosophy", go right ahead. Teach it in college. I graduated from college and those eggheads didn't persuade me away from Biblical absolute truths.
As for "science is science", did I stutter in my last paragraph? Creationism is a matter of fact. If you're liberal, too bad. Deal with it. You'd need quite literally all the evidence in the world to prove your little "theory". Until then, go away. --Pious 01:07, 16 July 2016 (CDT)
