'''iTunes''' is a digital media player by [[Apple Inc.]] that also serves as a medium between users and the iTunes store, where songs are offered for 69¢, 99¢ or $1.29 (often depending on the song's popularity) and movies are offered at various prices. The music pricing scheme was formerly a universal 99¢ price, but this was changed due to demands from music labels.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.independent.ie/entertainment/music/apple-crumbles-and-ups-cost-of-itunes-music-1702058.html|work=Independent.ie|title=Apple crumbles and ups cost of iTunes music|author=Murad Ahmed|date=Apr 08 2009|language=English|accessdate=Apr 26 2009}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|date=Apr 07 2009|accessdate=Apr 26 2009|language=English|url=http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5gK2ltoH6SGFBfQlWmcUiNASBjIiQ|work=Agence France-Presse|publisher=Google|title=iTunes offers new prices}}</ref>
