TMedicinal marijuana is used by proper doctors as a last-resort in states where it is legal or semi-legal (with a prescription, honored only by the state), and abused by perfectly healthy people who simply want to get high.  Medicinal marijuana, however well-intentioned, will obviously lead to abuses in that system.
