What I was, could have been, and am glad I was never.

:This article could certainly use some work, but it looks to me like these terms do not have the same meaning.  What I'm seeing is that while similar, psychopaths are incapable of empathy, while sociopaths do experience this emotions.  See: [http://www.diffen.com/difference/Psychopath_vs_Sociopath]<br />

::From my experience, that is incorrect.  I was a psychopath in my early adult life, but my love (both for a woman and for God) pulled me out of it.  In both cases, empathy is learned and then faked for ones' own good, the chance of criminality is only a matter of getting caught (high where I am so I never tried it), and the only actual emotions accessible are anger and hatred.  I thank God daily for pulling me out of psychopathy, into His light and His morality, before I learned sadism- were I a sadistic psychopath at any point in my life, I'd be an absolute monster, and I'm uncomfortably close to knowing that. --[[User:Pious|Pious]] ([[User talk:Pious|talk]]) 00:28, 3 November 2016 (EDT)
