The following scriptures are held as support for this view:
*The saints are not appointed unto wrath (1 Thessalonians 3)
*In this world, the saints shall have tribulation (Matthew 24)
*Immediately after the Tribulation, the Sun and the moon will go dark (Matthew 24)
*After the Sun and moon go dark, Christ will rapture the Church (Matthew 24, Revelation 6)
*The Sun and the moon will go dark before the Day of the Lord (Joel 5)
*At this point "the great day of his wrath is come," (Revelation 6)
*The rapture cannot come until there is a falling away, and the Abomination of Desolation occurs (2 Thessalonians 3)
*The seven seals cannot be God's wrath, because the fifth seal is martyrdom (Revelation 6)
*Therefore, the Tribulation is a separate time from the Day of the Lord's Wrath, the rapture will occur after Abomination of Desolation, but before the end of the seven years, and it will only be imminent within the second half.
