| | ::I agree, this sounds like it is attacking Cruz. He's a solid conservative--more so than Trump. However, some people here (most of all Mr. Schlafly, I believe) have a pretty low opinion of him. For this reason, the news on the home page as well as the content of this page have sounded like one non-stop attack on him since the primaries began. I disagree with this sentiment. His record is clear, and there is a reason why the hated him even more than Trump. Trump is an outsider, so he isn't connected to them, but Cruz is a part of the party, and has been for a while. For one of their own to do and say what he does was simply unacceptable, so they attacked him as much as they could. (They even called his father the zodiac killer, based on an old photo of two people, one of whom they decided looked something like his father.) Anyway, I've wanted to represent Cruz more fairly, but without any support, I've been unable to do so. Trump could do a lot of good, but blasting Cruz just to make Trump look better seems like a bad idea. --[[User:DavidB4|<font color="ForestGreen">David B</font>]] <small>([[User talk:DavidB4|TALK]])</small> 22:21, 29 October 2016 (EDT) | | ::I agree, this sounds like it is attacking Cruz. | | + | This article is horrifically inconsistent. When you read it, it starts off portraying Cruz as one of the worst guys ever, but then, without warning or any sign of transition, goes on to portray him as a solid conservative, AND continues to list him as a leader of conservative thought. It's so weird. It's like reading the writings of a person with multiple personality disorder. Which one is it? |
