Many ''scientific'' sources, such as [http://drdoughaldeman.com/doc/Pseudo-Science.pdf this one], suggest that conversion therapy is completely ineffective and only serves to make people appear heterosexual. People undergoing conversion therapy are often brutally harmed in the process and mentally traumatized.

In the very near future , I'd like to expand the article to include some more detail of techniques (the article in its current form is not very informative). I'd do it now but it requires research to fully flesh it out complete with citations. I planned to include a detailed list of common techniques and a bit more information on the reasons given why much of the medical community is not in favor of these techniques. My question is....am I allowed to make it as detailed as possible (no matter where the data takes me) or must I follow guidelines to ensure that it is presented in the brightest light possible? --DavidS 14:56, 21 December 2013 (EST)
