Major Sir Denis, Baronet Thatcher (born 1915 [[Melchester]], died 2003 [[London]]) was a British businessman and husband of [[Margaret Thatcher]]. Never one to hog the limelight in the face of his far more famous and poperful wife, he was often satirised (on the puppet show [[Spitting Image]], for example), as being a bit too fond of the bottle.
