John Lott & the Mary Rosh brouhaha would make another good example.  His "If national surveys are correct, 98 percent of the time that people use guns defensively, they merely have to brandish a weapon to break off an attack" statement isn't as clear cut, but might also be an example; the situation there is oddly similar to the Bellisiles situation, with mysteriously lost/destroyed records of supposed research. --[[User:Jtl|Jtl]] 15:19, 27 April 2007 (EDT)
