Changes

Like much of [[Wales]], its former economy was based around the [[mining]] industry. After the mining decayed following the the failure of the politically-motivated [[miners strike]] much hardship was felt. Recently however manufacturing has received a boost from several high-profile international projects, most notably the watertight roof sections for the viewing cars of the [[Eurostar]] and the wings for the new [[Airbus]] [[A380]].
