'''Rehome''' or re-homing is a [[euphemism]] for getting someone else to take responsibility for an unwanted animal or pet. In modern culture, rehoming also describes parents illegally giving up custody of their adopted [[child]] to another family. The issue has come to light when [[Russia]] banned adoptions to the USA. This practice is most concerning as children are placed with unfit parents, [[pedophile]]s and other lowlife adults without regard to child safety or well-being. Underground internet websites facilitate the exchange and they are shut down when found.
