Talk:Conservative Bible Project (view source)
Revision as of 07:36, April 10, 2017
, 07:36, April 10, 2017→Project appears to unintentionally elevate American culture over Ancient Near Eastern culture and original intent
Each name of God has a specific meaning and it is no accident that there are many names of God in the ancient Hebrew and each has its own meaning. See: [https://www.blueletterbible.org/study/misc/name_god.cfm Names of God in the Old Testament]

The Conservative Bible Project, however, sacrifices the specific meanings of God for the sake of efficiency (brevity) which is highly valued in American culture (efficiency experts, business orientation of America such as Calvin Coolidge saying the business of America is business, modern Americans short attention spans, etc. etc.). I do understand that American conservatives value original intent when it comes to historical/legal documents. However, that is not what is happening with the Conservative Bible Project. [[User:Conservative|Conservative]] ([[User talk:Conservative|talk]]) 03:36, 10 April 2017 (EDT)
