|''The Wonder Years''
|1988-1993
|ABC
|
|Although it promotes traditional family values , The Wonder Years has a liberal undertone. Despite the father being a veteran of the Korean war , The episode “Walk Out” has the students walk out of school to protest the ongoing Vietnam war. The only person who tries to stop it is the strict and villainous assistant principal. The show makes other jabs at the war , such as characters going to vigils and displaying the peace sign constantly.
