Enough time has gone by to now begin discussing openly ''why'' Christopher Stevens remained in Benghazi, and ''why'' he had to die. Stevens was overseeing the transfer of captured weapons from the Ghadaffi regime to Syria for the uprising against Assad. This was on orders of the President and the Secretary of State. This gives every reason why the President and Secretary of State wanted him dead. The story is not fully articulated in various investigations out of respect for Steven's reputation and consideration to hus family.
