Jones is a [[September 11, 2001 Attacks|9/11]] 'truther', and believes that there was something more than the planes crashing into the buildings that led to the Twin Towers eventually being destroyed. This may be a result of him watching the film [[Zeitgeist]], which attempts to prove that the 9/11 attacks were orchestrated by a foreign government as well as partly influenced by the Bush administration.
