== Plot ==
Popeye is honored on his 20th anniversary in motion pictures at a dinner hosted by [[Bob Hope]] and attended by other Hollywood celebrities including [[Jimmy Durante]], [[Bing Crosby]], [[Jerry Lewis]] and [[Dean Martin]], with Olive Oyl and Bluto also joining Popeye at the testimonial dinner. During the event, Popeye shows clips from two of his shorts, ''[[Tops in the Big Top]]'' and ''[[Rodeo Romeo]]'', which get Bluto steamed as Popeye gets the better of him in both clips after overcoming his rival's dirty tricks and other adversity. When Bob Hope presents Popeye with a trophy shaped like a spinach can in recognition of his movie contributions, Bluto has enough and runs over to grab the trophy and drive it onto Popeye's head before laughing riotously. Popeye discovers that the trophy actually contains spinach inside, so he devours the spinach to strengthen up and get his payback when he knocks Bluto into the air with a punch and causes him to fall onto the trophy's opening while the celebrities perform the last lines of Popeye's theme song.
