'''Patricia "Pat" Wiggins''' is a [[California]] State Senator (2007–Present) representing the 2nd Senatorial District. She was elected to replace the term limited [[Wesley Chesbro]]. A liberal from [[Santa Rosa, California]], she sits on or chairs several committees.
She became embroiled in scandal after belittling an [[African American]] pastor's opinion with an obscenity while he was testifying at a Senate committee.<ref>[http://www.napavalleyregister.com/articles/2008/08/11/news/local/doc48a0d076c69a1198578327.txt Napa Valley Register] Parental Discretion Advised - Language</ref> Although she apologized for the incident, opponents believe that this is part of a larger pattern including the beginning of senility.
