Alice Weidel - bisexual/homosexual?
What evidence is there for Weidel being bisexual rather than homosexual? Is she even the biological mother of the children she is raising with her female partner, or are they the partner's children? Either way, were the children conceived during a (presumably previous, but who knows) heterosexual relationship? The mere existence of children in a homosexual relationship does not imply that either partner is bisexual (cf. adoption, surrogacy, artificial insemination, fostering, etc.). Even being married and conceiving a child in the traditional way before subsequently embracing a homosexual lifestyle does not 'prove' that the person in question was actually heterosexual or bisexual at the time of the earlier relationship, or remains so later. Self-reporting seems to be the only way to be 'sure' about such cases (a parallel can be drawn with members of the ex-gay community), so is there some evidence for Weidel calling herself bisexual rather than homosexual?
Alternatively, the entire discussion could be removed as immaterial, unless it is felt that her sexual orientation is relevant to her leadership role in the AfG. I will admit to seeing some incongruity there.--[[User:Brossa|Brossa]] ([[User talk:Brossa|talk]]) 16:36, 1 August 2017 (EDT)
