Gregory David Wren, known as Greg Wren (born January 21, 1955) is a businessman in the capital city of Montgomery, Alabama, who represented District 75 in two stints of service in the Alabama House of Representatives: 1994-2002 and 2006-2014. He resigned the seat as part of a plea bargain by which he admitted to using his office for personal gain.

Born in Ithaca, New York, Wren graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery and received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa.

The owner of Wren and Associates, he is an agent of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, known as the "quiet company." From 1977 to 1981, he was the director of governmental affairs for the Alabama Association of Realtors, an analyst for the Alabama Legislative Fiscal Office, and a staff assistant in the United States Senate. He is a former chairman of the deacons at the First Baptist Church of Montgomery and a former director of the Young Men's Christian Association. In 2005, the YMCA named Wren "Man of the Year."  Wren is also a former chairman of the Hugh O'Brian Youth Association, founded by and named for the late American actor Hugh O'Brian. Wren and his wife, Susan Anderson Wren, have three daughters, Rachael Lindmark and Christa and Catherine Wren.

He was formerly a member of the executive council of the National Conference of State Legislators and the Business Advisory Council of the Republican National Committee.
In his last general election of November 2, 2010, he handily held on to his House seat by defeating the Democrat Glenn L. Allen, 14,046 to 5,551 votes. He had run unopposed for the seat four years earlier in 2006.

When Wren pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor ethics violation on April 1, 2014, he resigned his House seat. The charge stemmed from Wren's ties to a company that employed him as a consultant for $8,000 per month. Wren confessed to having taken legislative action that could have placed administrative control of the Medicaid program for lower-income persons to the American Pharmaceutical Cooperative, Inc., of Bessemer, Alabama, which had ties to the business for which Wren consulted. Wren's attorney said that the former legislator was unaware of the Medicaid issue at stake. He contended that the misdemeanor violation was unintentional.

Wren was ordered to pay $24,000 in restitution to the state of Alabama within ninety days and to cooperate with prosecutors investigating corrupt practices in the legislature, including then Speaker Mike Hubbard, who resigned from the legislature because of a felony conviction in June 2014. Even before he resigned from the legislature, Wren had announced that he was not running again in the 2014 election cycle.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://blog.al.com/wire/2014/04/alabama_lawmaker_greg_wren_to.html]
